SONIC TALK 087 This weeks show is the last one before a short break - I'm off on holiday. We have a cosy group this week with Mark Tinley - sound artist and long time Duran Duran collaborator and also by Dave Spiers - from GForce Software, makers of fine software instruments. First up, I'd like to send out good healing vibes to Dave who's suffering from something called Labyrinthitis - a nasty illness that causes an upset to the balance - get well soon mate. I'd like to shout out a thank you to Dan Austin, who sent in a few topics for us to look at , the first of which is the classic New Order track Blue Monday, drummers who could play tight, then we're on to the reformation of Yazoo with Vince and Alison back on stage "like salmon", Robbie Ryan posts us a comment, then theres the Wizard Master Control program - a funky sequencer, Melloman Walkman based Mellotron from Mike Walters via Tara Busch, Compact Flash for scsi samplers and then we're done... Remember... Do Call Us We’ve set up a Skype account for people to leave comments (which may be played on subsequent episodes) or requests to be considered for a part on the show.
