You’ve probably heard the news already, as there was a buzz about this mixer just before MESSE, but here’s the StudioLive in the flesh. This (as far as I’m aware) makes full usage of the DICE II Firewire chip which has higher IO capabilities than most of the chips used in many Firewire interfaces – See more on the DICE II Chip below.
Expected to land later this year with a price somewhere under $2k – which as Rick says, when you consider the cost of a decent 8 channel AD/DA – is a steal.

Pfft! 27-Apr-08 11:36 PM Mystic radio Said... no moving fader. cause they didnt want to put cheap ones in.. good ones would increase the board by $1500 ... and THAT would be more of a pity. but the fat channel has representations of fader points in recall.
