Violet Audio’s Trinity Series TST3, TSR3, and TSR12 are balanced audio connection transmission plates and receiver units designed especially to facilitate the connection and transmission of hi-quality audio over standard CAT 5 Ethernet cable in installation environments.
With the adoption of standard Cat 5 cable format, professional audio installers can now reduce both component and installation costs across the board.
Trinity Series Transmitter Plate
The TST3 is a wall mountable audio input connector plate. It features three (3) x combo audio input connectors on the front panel and a standard Cat 5 Ethernet output connector on the rear. All output signals are transmitted to a Trinity Series destination receiver unit.
Trinity Series Receiver Units The TSR3 and TSR12 receiver units accept incoming audio data from the TST3 transmitter units and offer 3 or 12 channel balanced analog XLR outputs respectively.
The TSR3 is a compact 3 channel receiver perfect for use with one single TST3 transmitter, whereas the TSR12 is a 1RU standard 19 rack-mountable unit built to accept 12 channels of incoming audio from up to 4 x TST3 transmitter units. All Trinity Series products feature hi-quality component selection and full metal chassis construction. Violet Audio product manager, John Fuller, told us, “Our New TST3, TSR3/12 products are just a taste of what we have planned for the Trinity Series. Over the next 12 months we have a range of products coming to market that will take advantage new technologies specifically targeted to provide solutions to the growing install market.
