Camel Audio have released updates to their multi- effects plugins. CamelPhat is a phattening processor, featuring distortion, compression filtering and bass enhancement in one plug-in. CamelSpace is a rhythmic multi-effects plugin for adding interest to pads and guitars, with six effects including a trance-gate, delay and reverb.
These new versions implement full VST 2.4 compatibility and support for Cubase 4. A 'Universal Binary' build (VST and Audio Units versions) is provided for Mac OS X. Minor bug fixes and other improvements have been made in all versions.
The community section on the Camel Audio website has also been updated with new interviews with famous users. Grammy winning film composer Danny Elfman whose credits include 'Beetlejuice', 'Batman' and 'Edward Scissorhands', had this to say, "Of all the plugins on my recently-upgraded workstation, CamelPhat and CamelSpace are the most frequently-used."
