We brought you news of this last November when it was released in WAV format and now we can report that Smart Loops has released the SL Reference Kit for SoundFont 2.0-compatible software samplers and sound cards. SL Reference Kit includes over 350 MB of 24-bit drum samples, performed live on a Pearl Reference kit, and recorded at Platinum Labs in Nashville.
SL Reference Kit SoundFontFormat Highlights:
Includes 2 SoundFonts - The complete 350 MB 24-bit SoundFont plus a smaller “LITE� 16-bit version for improved compatibility with older SoundFont devices or machines low on system resources
Compatible with all major Mac and PC software samplers
All samples recorded dry, with no EQ, compression, or other processing; the ideal reference samples from which to build and mix a custom drum track sound for any style of music
A complete drum sample set performed on world-class Pearl Reference Series drum kit, including:
