Line 6 have announced the release of a significant update to its flagship amplifier line, Vetta II. Vetta 2.5 introduces major enhancements and new features for all Vetta I and II amplifier owners. The upgrade includes all new and greatly improved direct out models, additional amp and effect models, improved tuner stability, tap tempo sync to MIDI clock, additional footswitch assignments, and much more.
Darrell Smith, amplifier product line manager, Line 6 had this to tell us, "The Vetta II team poured over forums, customer requests, and artist feedback to capture the ultimate wish list of improvements for our flagship amplifier. We’ve added 6 amp models, 9 wah models, expression pedal controlled pitch shifting, a dedicated solo boost, and many other critical refinements.
explained Vetta II amplifiers contain a virtual collection of 80 sought-after vintage and modern amps and cabs, over 100 stomp box and studio rack effects, and 4 classic cabinet/microphone convolution models with variable positions. At the touch of a single button, Vetta II can deliver two independent amps and a full bevy of effects at once, giving musicians incredibly detailed tones for stage and recording work. Plus, a direct digital Variax Modelling Guitar input seamlessly integrates Variax's collection of guitars with Vetta II's collection of amps, cabs, and effects.
