Never ones to miss a show, Digidesign had a stand at Plasa 2005, showing off some upgrades to their rather impressive Venue live console (see the video with Robert Scovill), but they also had on display their new M-Box 2 in a fetching dark blue livery. Other than no longer sporting the Focusrite name, we wondered what other changes were inside - Training Specialist Eric Kuehnl was on hand to give us a run-through. One thing that did stand out, though - the interface is still only USB 1.0 ... we thought USB 2.0 or FireWire might have made an appearance...
Still, I'm sure they know what they're doing.
