Zakk Wylde is the scariest (and hairiest) guitarist ever to stalk the earth. His picking technique and bone-crunching distortion have become the hallmarks of his session work with Ozzy Osbourne, while his own Black Label Society continues to redefine the art of shred guitar. Attitude, strong lager and years of practice have all played their part in his unique tone - so have his Les Pauls. Nailing the big man's sound may no longer be limited to the minted few with release of Epiphone's Zakk Wylde Camo LP Custom - Despite its competitive price tag, the Camo is a faithful version of Zakk's Gibson original. Under the camouflage maple top you'll find a mahogany body that offers warmth and sustain. Then you've got a set maple neck, lending a biting quality to the mix and providing an ultra-fast playing experience. The icing on this unholy cake, however, has to be the EMG-HZ4 active humbuckers - pickups that deliver the high output overdrive that has become Zakk's calling card, without the background hiss associated with singlecoils. A hard maple neck is set deep into the Buzzsaw's body to provide superior stability, while a flush rosewood fingerboard should allow lightning-speed riffs, slides and bends. True to the blueprint, the Epiphone Buzzsaw also features twin EMG-HZ4 humbuckers for Wylde's high-output tone. Main Features
