Pete Townsend of the Who extensively used Gibson Les Paul Deluxe guitars back in the 1970's - several could be seen set up on stage each with a large individual number applied to it. The Gibson Custom Shop have have now made a Townsend Signature Deluxe which recreates Pete's number 1 Deluxe complete with the added middle pickup and 2 mini toggle switches to tap it and put it out of phase.   • Single ply cream binding on top

  • Nashville TOM bridge, TP-6 tailpiece
