New jersey based Fuchs Audio Technology had a half dozen new amps to launch at Winter NAMM. Based on the Overdrive Supreme, the Triple Drive Supreme features three channels - 'Clean' and 'Mean' channels as found on the Overdrive Supreme, plus a chimey 'California Clean' channel with brite, deep and rock/jazz switches as well as mid and gain boosts. Available in 50, 100 and 150 watt versions the TDS is controlled by a 6-way footswitch and features an Accutronics spring reverb, an all-tube buffered effects loop with series or parallel operation and 4, 8 and 16 ohm outputs. The other three new amps are single channel non-master models: the Lucky-7, Blackjack and Train-45, all featuring three stage 12AX7 preamps and solid wood cabinets. The Lucky-7 features a single ended EL-34 output stage putting out 7 watts while the Train-45 has two EL-34's for a 45 watt output. The Blackjack features a 2 x 6V6 power stage providing 21 watts of output power. All the new models are set to ship in April 2005 More info:
