The Korg Legacy Collection comrpsing MS-20, Wavestation and Polysix plus the legacy Cell Editor have proved to be enourmously popular since their initial release. Indeed, comparison with the originals are favourable with some evangalists raving about how they simply love them! Korg have released an update with a number of tweaks in all departments. The upgrade can be downloaded by registered users from:

    This version has the following new functions for the "MS-20" and "WAVESTATION" as well as some minor bug fixes. For more details, please look at the description "Changes in v1.1.0" page. [MS-20]
  • The external modulation Patch Points - MG TRI, MG PW, EG1, EG1 Reverse, EG2, and EG2 Reverse - have been added to the list of external modulation sources, for greater creative sound design and control.
  • 32 new sounds, all created using the modulation sources mentioned above, have been added. [WAVESTATION]
  • A new "Snap" function has been added, allowing the length of each step ina wavesequence to be individually set to a specific note value (1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc.), as determined by MIDI clock.
  • The ability to edit multiple steps of a wavesequence at the same time has been added.
  • Certain part parameters can now be edited by NRPN (Non Registered Parameter Number). The data for three microKONTROL "scenes" that use this new function are included.
  • The performance of the WAVESTATION for PC has been greatly improved whenusing a processor that uses SSE instructions; such as Celeron, Pentium III,AthlonXP. UPDATE INSTALLATION
    As explained in the update file download page, in order to install the Update, please note: [PC]
    Version 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 must first be uninstalled, then you can run the installer for version 1.1.0. The current License code will be lost when this update is installed. When the application is launched for the first time after installing the update, the License authorization dialog will appear. Log into the korguser.net website and select "re-issue registered license code". Use the Authorization Code on the label affixed to the original CD-ROM envelope. [Mac]
