Thirty-three year old Alabama native, Brad Cotter is the newest 'Nashville Star'. Playing his GibsonUSA Pioneer Cutaway, Cotter performed Tom Petty's 'The Waiting' as his final televised performance. Host Nancy O'Dell announced the newest Nashville Star as confetti rained down on Cotter and Sony Music President John Grady walked onstage and welcomed him to Sony Nashville. Cotter also performed his first single 'Meant To' which shipped to country radio this week. Finalists George Canyon and Matt Lindhal came in close behind Cotter. Gibson and Epiphone provided the musical support throughout the series, in the house band as well as center stage.
