WNAMM03: Jomox Show New Units

US The JaZBase03 and MBase 01      19/02/03

The Jomox stand was manned by the ever-enthusiastic Andreas who always has boundless energy for all things analog. As well as representing Jomox, who were displaying their new Jaz Base unit, Andreas also helps to bring Eowave, Doepfer and Vermona under one roof. (See Andreas' whirlwind tour of the floor) The JaZBase03 is an analogue MIDI drum expander based on the Air Base 99 and features many of the classic sounds from the classic XBase09 drum machine, with more emphasis on those voices to suite the more jazzy flavoured genres. Featuring 9 instruments, around 1000 presets (768 ram, 256 rom) plus 10 outs the JaZBase03 also features separate envelopes and filters with 2 LFOs to boot. The JaZBase03 is shipping in April 2003 and is expected to be around $790

MBase01 is a single channel MIDI analog bass drum for those banging electro kicks you've always been after. Essentially, it's the bass drum only from the XBase 09 triggerable via MIDI or from an external audio in as well as from the front panel. Theres envelope, LFO and filter to create monster kicks in the analogue style. This unit is available from April 2003 at somewhere under $300

Now we've got the Jomox items out of the way, why not take a look at Andreas' whirlwind tour of the products he distributes... For more info:
