ECHO - top chaps
Those nice ECHO folk had a new box on display - an expansion unit for their well-regarded multi i/o computer audio interface. They reckon (and who are we to argue) that many folks aren't using the ADAT optical connectors they so thoughtfully provided on the back of the original Layla et al, so they came up with this cunning device, which uses the optical i/o to provide a further 8 channels of luverly analogue ins & outs - sweet.
The 1U Layla EXP (for it is that) has 16 balanced +4dB TRS connectors on the rear panel, and can be used with any of the ECHO audio interfaces with an available ADAT i/o, and will list at $499 USD. More details (they should have them by the time you check) at:-
