We spoke to Mr Doefper himself who told us that they'd only just finished the prototype Pocket Fader, a rather fetching 16 fader controller - a fader version of the popular pocket controller. faders are 60mm and come with 128 patches as standard - selectable via dip switch.

The unit comes with a free editor (PC only for now) for creating your own presets. Another cool feature is the built in midi merge, saving you a valuable port. Price to be around 180usd. Available around March. We also saw a prototype gizmo- based on a Nintendo type game controller: linked to an infared thingy, it converts the joypad rockers and buttons into control voltages giving you a way to tweak your analog parameters in a wierd and wonderful way. we're not convinced that this will catch on but fair play to Doefper for having a go.
