Starting with the exceedingly colourful Surface One (see pic) It's a controller with a difference. As well as the generous helping of knobs, theres a bunch of unusually shaped pads made of wait for it, ' fibre optic based smart fabric' (originally developed by the Canadian Space Agency!) that respond to speed of movement AND velocity- you can assign all sorts of controller info as well as SYSEX giving a greater degree of flexiblillty. Theres also a USB connection..

Main Features:
  • Buttons may transmit any info variation
  • Different types of motion ( touch, double tap, pressure) trigger different commands
  • Shift function to access second layer of objects
  • User defined object resolution
  • Pressure applied to top or bottom of object results in fade in /out
  • Objects and presets can be copied and pasted
  • Flash ram upgrades There's more...
