Carl Ashwin writes:
"This epic ‘Power Synth’ breaks completely new sonic ground by combining a wide variety of hybrid realtime synthesis techniques, an epic library of remarkable ‘Psychoacoustic’ sounds, and many innovative features that have never been seen before in any hardware or software synthesizer".

Good Points
The sounds! This is new stuff! It's next generation synthesis requiring next generation computing power. It will run reasonably well on a top spec current PC but ideally your looking at quad-core cpu and 4GB RAM at the very least. Preset's range from a few MB to almost half a gig. That said, this sounds like nothing I've ever heard before. It's great to finally play a new instrument that actually has some inspirational sounds in it. There is nothing out there hardware or software based that can hold a candle to this package. It's simply awesome!
Bad Points
It's a heavyweight piece of kit coming on 6 installation DVD's. For a PC to run this with the ease current P.C's run most plug-ins, your going to need something really powerful. Omnisphere have created a superweight product that takes its own Atmosphere product and makes it many times better but at the cost of PC power! This shouldn't preclude from using it but don't think you'll be able to run 8 tracks of this at the same time without rendering to audio to free up some resources.
