Blend, the online network where musicians share and collaborate on tracks, and Antares, makers of the revolutionary Auto-Tune software and AVOX vocal processing toolkit, are inviting music producers to create a new track using exclusive vocals from multi-genre singer Veela (Arthur & Medic, Sinatic, Ben Moon, Fort Minor) and any of the plugins featured in AVOX 4 for a shot at winning a full license for Auto-Tune Vocal Studio ($899 value) or other Antares plugins.
To enter, participants will go to the contest website and pull the AVOX 4 project featuring Veela's a capella "Passing Time." If they don't have a Blend account, they can sign up with an exclusive pass from Antares.
With the Free Demo of AVOX 4 (requires a free iLok Account - available here), the contestants will make an original track using the AVOX 4 project before the 10 day trial expires, and publish their update to the project on Blend no later than June 30th, 2014.
The submissions will be judged for the most interesting and creative uses of AVOX 4 plugins. Prizes include:
Antares will send information for activating the plugins to the winners via email.
About Blend
Blend was created for musicians to connect and share in-progress tracks and collaborate, or "blend" each other's works. While other networks focus on publishing completed music, Blend provides a platform for musicians to collaborate directly with each other in their native (source) format, such as Ableton Live, Maschine, Pro Tools, Logic, and GarageBand.
