Can Autotune Make You A Good Singer?

US Tom Scott with Beth Roars and Adam Neely      11/12/21

Most of us are unfathomably disturbed by the public hearing our actual singing voices - but can auto-tune (or re-pitching) save us? We've covered a couple of videos by Tom Scott before, and this latest video seeks to find out whether it can turn him from being a vocal atrocity into what might be deemed a "good singer". He's not alone in the attempt, with some expert singing lessons and production polish.

First off, he's aided by a vocal lesson from Beth Roars, loaded with superb techniques and ideas for hitting those seemingly elusive notes. Then his vocal gets some production treatment from Adam Neely using Melodyne and others, with some pretty impressive results! Do you think the result makes Tom a good singer?

This video is on Tom's second youtube channel, Tom Scott Plus, his main channel can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/tomscottgo
